Application's Population Forecasting model was originally developed for the City of St. Albert. It has subsequently been purchased by the City of Airdrie and Lethbridge. This stand alone model lets you create realistic projections of growth from your desktop.

Population Forecast

Applications' Population Forecasting Model has been designed to project change in population attributable to both natural increase (ie. births, deaths, survival) and net migration. Population forecasts are prepared at the municipal, regional (Census Metropolitan Area) and provincial level. We have short, medium and long term population projections available under various economic growth senarios. These scenarios can be customized to your needs. The population results are by gender for single year age categories to 85 years plus.
